What is the object of the project?
Object of the project is the implementation of an Integrated Information System that will support the management and organisation procedures of the operational functions of the Deposits and Loans Fund. Objectives of the project are the facilitation of the interaction of the transactors, the Local Authorities and the Legal Persons with the officials of the Fund, the more effective decision making by its management, as well as the optimum handling of its procedures. It also aims to the development of new financial products in an on-line environment, the fight against money laundering and the suppression of the financing of terrorism (PC AML/CTF). Furthermore, the Integrated Information System under development must provide interconnection to third systems and competent bodies involved in its affairs, and support a customer-centered management of the procedures of the Fund.
Aim of this project is the replacement of the existing applications with a single system, the improvement of the maintained procedure with best practices and the formulation of other uncharted procedures that can strengthen the efficiency of the Deposits and Loans Fund and the user-friendliness to the stakeholders and the customers of the divisions.
In the context of the Project, the Contractor undertakes the following:
- The preparation of an Implementation Study , the analysis of the requirements of the integrated system, and the design of the individual systems it includes.
- The development, the supply and installation of new applications and necessary operation support systems, which he must provide accompanied by their respective legal licenses.
- The integration of the above in an integrated and functional whole, with configuration based on the needs of the Deposits and Loans Fund.
- The coordination of the bodies involved (Local authorities, Ministry of Finance, services) to have, at all times, a common view regarding the progress of transaction requests that fall under their jurisdiction.
- The training of the subgroups of system managers and users.
- The support of the Deposits and Loans Fund during the pilot and test operation of the Project, until the system finally becomes operational.
The project will be implemented in three (3) Phases:
Phase 1 – Requirements Analysis Study and IT Application Design.
Phase 2 – Development of Subsystems and Applications – System Installation in G-Cloud
Phase 3 – System Service Provision – Training, Test and Pilot operation.
What is the aim of the project?
Aim of the project “Integrated Information System for the Management and Organisation of Operational Functions of the Deposits and Loans Fund” is the development of an integrated and modern information system of operational functions that will bring the modernisation of the management, organisation and operation of the Deposits and Loans Fund, regarding its operational functions.
What are the expected benefits from the implementation of the project?
The expected benefits from the implementation of this project fall into both the modernisation of the management, organisation and operation of the Deposits and Loans Fund, regarding its operational functions, such as the management of Loans, Applications, Expropriations etc., and the improvement of the deposit and cash services that its transactors/customers receive.
In detail, the following are expected:
- Immediate and full information to the customers-transactors, regarding their deposit and cash cases, the available financial products, and the course of their requests to the Deposits and Loans Fund.
- Prevention and suppression of money laundering and financing of terrorism.
- Interoperability between the bodies involved and the systems so that it will not be required to present documents and/or evidence at the branches of the Deposits and Loans Fund, accelerating the procedures.
- Elimination of the physical presence of the person concerned in one or more services.
- Automation of the expropriation clearance process, organisation of applications in case files and creation of digitally signed documents.
- Effective drafting-execution of contracts and monitoring the progress of proceedings and tender procedures.
