What is the object of the project?

Object of the project is the creation of a digital platform for automated questions and answers to assist the citizens’ communication for the needs of the “Granting financial aid to cover part of the increased cost of purchase of food products, due to the significant increase in the index of consumer prices (MARKET PASS)” action. More specifically, the contractor will create a software system of automated questions and answers, which will consist a digital dialogue program, will be based on Machine Learning statistical models, will support modern algorithms of Machine Learning, as well as of Natural Language Processing. Furthermore, through an appropriate management environment, the manager, through a graphic interface will be able to extract use statistics of the chatbot. Furthermore, through a suitable management environment, the manager will be able to extract usage statistics for the digital assistant (chatbot) via a GUI.

Chatbots set out to create one more communication channel between the citizens and the Bodies, in addition to existing traditional channels, such as the call centre, automated voice portals, websites, ticketing systems, etc. Their main advantage is that they can be smart enough, simulate a conversation with a human, are already “installed” on the users’ mobile phones, as they run on top of existing text communication software, such as Facebook, Messenger, can remember data, selections, choices and preferences and they will be able to carry out money transactions in the future. All these from a single environment in natural language, which exists in the users’ mobile phones. Chatbots can function as an alternative means of service for the citizens and the transactors, in general, with an organisation.
