The aim of the operation is to increase the competitiveness of the sector. Through the use of new technological tools, Input-Output systems, to monitor the quantities of liquid fuels handled and the interconnection of these systems with the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR), the competitiveness of the sector (petrol stations and heating oil sales facilities) is enhanced and the fight against smuggling and tax evasion is strengthened.
The procedure is simpler than in previous rounds, as in the first phase, the required documents will only be submitted electronically. Please note that, in order for an application to be accepted, the invoices relating to the total costs of installing the system must have been paid by the closing date for the submission of applications.
The procedure as well as the funding conditions are described in the Guide to the Sixth Round (http://bit.ly/KtP_egas), that is an appendix of the Joint Ministerial Decision numbered 61674/11/06/2019 (Β’2385)
