As the managing director of the Information Society S.A. said to the Athens and Macedonian News Agencies, “The Information Society is the Society of the… citizen.” As he stated, “we are happy to be at the International Fair of Thessaloniki for another year in order to convey to the citizens-visitors the strong imprint of the Information Society on the digital transformation that is taking place in the country by the Minister of Digital Governance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis and his staff. We wish to be partners in every action that enhances citizens’ accessibility and makes the digital world accessible and available everywhere. We are also moving towards this direction in regard to the state aid, allocating to the beneficiaries almost EUR 720 million. The Information Society is the Society of the… citizen. Our aim is to transform the IS from a key executive agency of the Ministry of Digital Governance into a key actor for the design, development and implementation of projects that strengthen the citizen’s digital relationship with public administration and actively promote Greece in the 4th industrial revolution.”
