In order to facilitate more and more of our fellow citizens, the Ministry of Digital Governance proceeds with the expansion of the remote service from the Citizen Service Centres, by including eight (8) more Municipalities in the myKEPlive program.
From now on, the KEPs of the Municipalities of Serres, East Mani, Naxos, Polygyros at Chalkidiki, Rethymnon, Malevizi, Corintho and Oraiokastro enable citizens to be served by a scheduled video call by a trained KEP employee, submitting their applications from home, without the obligation to be physically present at the KEPs and to receive the final product electronically or by registered mail.
The myKEPlive platform, which is used by a total of 45 Municipalities, significantly facilitates those of our fellow citizens who, for whatever reason, find it difficult to physically go to the KEPs, saving time and significantly reducing bureaucracy.
It is recalled that through the myKEPlive platform high demand procedures are provided through four thematic services:1) Information – Application, 2) Services to Businesses, 3) Service to Citizens with Disabilities, 4) Service from your Municipality.
It is noted that when using the myKEPlive service, the personal data of citizens are not stored, while videoconferences with the employees of the KEPs are not recorded.
Next week an additional ten (10) municipalities will join the service, while the government’s goal is the integration of all municipalities in the country by the end of the year.
A total of 459 video calls for citizen service have been processed until 02-09-2020, as detailed in the table below:
