What is the object of the project?
The object of the project concerns the assurance of the operational continuity of the productive operation of the information systems that are hosted or will be hosted in the GGPSDD. or e-Government Center for Social Security in the context of the government clouds G-Cloud and H-Cloud, to enable the provision of modern information systems hosting services to the hybrid cloud computing standards to the Public Bodies, according to their needs and providing a service-level agreement, as required by law, but also automation that will allow, in addition to the existing ones, the hosting and the critical Information Systems of the Public Administration.
Technological infrastructure is a key prerequisite for the digital transformation of both the state and the country at large. Economic growth and entry into the new digital economy are directly linked to the upgrading of technological infrastructure. The Government Cloud is the set of computing infrastructures that need to be upgraded to form the basis for the digital transformation of the State.
In particular, the project includes the extension of the existing computing infrastructure for the above bodies. For the extension of the existing Government Clouds, a computing infrastructure will be procured by a public cloud provider.
