General description of the Project

It is an aid programme to offset the cost of installing infrastructure in buildings in order to make them “smart”, in terms of their connection to public utility infrastructure. The programme will encourage a series of upgrades, including:

  • the installation of fiber optic networks within the building in order to facilitate the provision of ultra-high speed broadband services in all common building areas;
  • the installation of infrastructure for the future interconnection of utility network meters (electricity, natural gas) with the central point where the building’s electronic communications infrastructure is located;
  • the installation of cable infrastructure connecting the utility meters (electricity and natural gas) with the central point where the building’s communications infrastructure is located. This way, the only thing still required will be to replace the respective meter with a smart meter (by the respective utility operator, when this is completed).
What is the object of sub-project 6?

The object of the project is the provision of services for the entire duration of the Smart Readiness action, for the purpose of detailed planning and the implementation of publicity activities for the action. In particular, it entails the following:

1) Preparation of a publicity plan, which will contain a detailed recording and scheduling of information actions and their detailed costing.
2) Preparation of a plan for the projection of a TV spot in order to promote the Action.
3) Programme identity design with all relevant artefacts.
4) Visual design of the websites for providing information to beneficiaries and installers. For this purpose, the contractor will have to work with the contractors of the digital platforms to deliver the visual design outputs in a way that will allow the adaptation of the web tools (layouts, pallets, CSS, html wireframes).
5) Preparation of informative content that will need to be posted on the website and the various electronic tools. The contractor should keep up-to-date information on the entire Programme.
6) Preparation of a TV spot to promote the Action.
7) Actions to inform the potential beneficiaries for the entire life cycle of the action.
8) Actions to inform the business community of installers, so as to ensure their readiness. These actions can be carried out in collaboration with collective bodies, which represent the specific sectors.
9) Artificial Intelligence Digital Communication Assistant (A.I. Chatbot). In the framework of the project and in order to facilitate the communication process of potential beneficiaries and installers, an application capable of conducting a dialogue and providing automated answers to key questions related to the project will be developed. The digital assistant will be designed based on the most modern machine learning techniques in order to process the user’s input during the conversation, not only with the aim of responding in the appropriate manner, but also so as to learn from them and, in this way, to continuously improve itself without external assistance.
10) Activities to communicate with & inform the beneficiaries of the action.
11) Activities to communicate with & inform the installers of the action.
12) Control of the necessary supporting documents of television stations for certifying the implementation of the television campaign promoting the Action.
