What do Greeks think about Internet security?

The Center for Cybersecurity of the Delphi Economic Forum has held a roundtable discussion on Cybersecurity.

Information Society was represented at the meeting by the General Director of Projects, Mr. Dimitris Giantsis This was a private meeting during which the results of a Nationwide Survey on Internet Security conducted by Metron Analysis on behalf of Vodafone Greece in collaboration with ELIAMEP (the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy) were presented, regarding the use of the internet in businesses and in the public sector, in order to promote dialogue on strategies to tackle crime and cyber threats.
After the President and CEO of Metron Analysis, Mr. Stratos Fanaras, presented the results, the Minister for Citizen Protection, Mr. Michalis Chrysochoidis, and the Minister for Digital Governance, Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou, took the floor.
Then a very interesting debate took place, which was attended by CEOs, CTOs and CIOs of large companies such as Vodafone, OPAP, Google, ΕΥ (Ernst Young Greece), Piraeus Bank, from which important conclusions were drawn about the perceptions of Greek companies regarding threats arising from the use of the Internet and the experience of Internet users as a whole, focusing on how we utilize technology, on perceived risks and forms of protection against them.
