The Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY) is entering a new era, thanks to the “Installation of Meteorological Stations Development of Web Portal Infrastructure”. A project implemented by Information Society, drastically upgrading its operation and services.

Among other things, 80 automatic meteorological stations, 10 modern shipborne meteorological systems and 3 automatic radio navigation systems are being installed. At an event held on Wednesday 18/9 at EMY’s facilities in Elliniko, Ms Sofia Ploumpi, Director of Project Management at Information Society, presented the management aspect of the project, focusing on its notable benefits for society and its citizens.
